Day 3 - First Date
Day 3 – Your idea ofthe perfect first date
Ummmmmm...I have no idea!!!!
It's been 9 years since I've even thought about a first date! So instead, I'll recap my first date with my husband. It was 9 years ago, and I still remember
Our first date was supposed to be Tuesday, September 11, 2001. Well, needless to say, that date was rescheduled...
Instead, on Saturday, September 15, Andrew picked me up in the suburbs, we went to Bakers' Square and talked. I learned how to pronounce his last name - this is something I'm still working on
We went back to the house where I forced him to watch a recording of the VMAs. This didn't last long...
We went to the piano and played some songs for a while. Then, ya know.
We had a fun first date and the fun has continued for 9 years.
Really I think a good first date is something quiet and calm, where you can really listen to each other and figure out if you have anything in common. Movies and concerts I think are a bad idea. Coffee or a casual lunch, to me, is a good idea. How can you know you want to bother with a 2nd date if you sit in a dark room with someone and never get to speak?
So yeah...that' all, cause I don't know what else to say...
Hopefully I can do better on tomorrow's topic!!!
xoxo
