Day 2 - mmmmmmmmmmm
Day 2 – A photo of something you ate today
After losing 30lbs for our wedding, I've kind of given up on food. I still eat every day but I try to only eat one big meal a day. Say what you will, but it's worked for me!
Yesterday I asked Andrew if I could take him to dinner for his birthday and he chose Indian Garden on Devon, which is one of our favorites! So, I saved my big meal for dinner today.
We had some super yummy food and since I couldn't remember what today's blog was supposed to be, I didn't take any pictures of my actual food! But thanks to Google, you can share in the yumminess
Since the challenge seems to imply that I should only post one item, I'm choosing the item that I could find a picture of that looks closest to how it looked in the restaurant:

SAMOSAS!!!
If you've never had naan, I am so sorry for you. It's pretty much the greatest bread on earth.
Anyway, my dinner was pretty awesome. If you're in Chicago and have never been to Indian Garden, I suggest you go. We love it there and so do our friends. There are two locations, so check 'em out!

SAMOSAS!!!
I only ate one and it was sooooooo yummy!!! Samosas are puffed pastry and at Indian Garden they are filled with potatoes and peas. I don't eat peas, so I pick them out, which makes it a bit more annoying to eat, but totally worth the effort. This was our appetizer. For dinner I ate murg saagwala with white rice and NAAN!!!!

We had a nice dinner. Andrew's a great dinner date and I paid for once
He deserves to have someone pay for his food sometimes. I only wish I could do it more!
Soooo...Day 2 down! Let's see if I can keep it up!
